Natural track luge is held on tracks, which – as the name says – are as far as possible adapted to the natural shape of the landscape and do not need to be artificially built. There are no artificially built steep curves. The length of a racetrack will be 800 to 1500 meters with an average downward grade of not more than 12%, even though parts of the track can be as steep as up to 25%. Following disciplines are held: Women singles (4 starters per nation allowed in World Cup and WC) Men singles (6) Doubles (3) A single race consists of two runs, a doubles race of two as well. Time will be taken in hundreths of a second. The RED BULL World Cup consists of six races, one result can be crossed off. In case of a tie the higher cross-off results wins.
