Berchtesgaden (FIL): It was as much as a decade ago that the company Viessmann Werke GmbH & Co KG based in Allendorf (Eder) began their involvement with the international luge sport. Ever since then, the International Luge Federation (FIL) has been able to rely on the company Viessmann, one of the most important manufacturers of heating technology products, as a strong and loyal partner. Viessmann’s involvement as FIL main sponsor includes the title sponsorship of the Viessmann World Cup series.

In order to pay tribute to the longstanding successful partnership and to thank Dr. Martin Viessmann personally, President Josef Fendt, several times Olympic luge champion Georg Hackl and Rudolf Größwang from the agency RGS Sportmarketing traveled to the company’s headquarters in Allendorf.
