Cesana (pps) Germany’s Tatjana Hüfner and the Italy’s Armin Zöggeler as well as his team-mates Gerhard Plankensteiner/Oswald Haselrieder won the SUZUKI Challenge Cup at Cesana.
Armin Zöggeler is still unbeaten on the Olympic track of Cesana. The two-time Olympic Champion (52,375) won the finale against Austria’s Daniel Pfister (52,598) clearly. Third Place took Stefan Höhener from Switzerland, who bat in the small finale Germany’s Jan Eichhorn.
Tatjana Hüfner celebrated her second victory in the second race of the season. She won the finals ahead her team-mate Natalie Geisenberger. Third place to Austria’s Nina Reithmayer . She bat in the small finale Martina Kocher from Switzerland.
The double’s race saw Italy’s Gerhard Plankensteiner/Oswald Haselrieder in front. The Olympic Bronze Medalists bat in the finale their team-mates Christian Oberstolz/Patrick Gruber by an advantage of just seven thousands of a second. Third place went to Germany’s Patric Leitner/Alexander Resch, who won the small finale against Austria’s Olympic Champions Andreas Linger/Wolfgang Linger.
