Winterberg (pps) Germany’s Olympic Champion Sylke Otto celebrated in Winterberg the 34th victory of her career. The 35-year-old woman won the Viessmann Luge World Cup in Winterberg in a total time of one minute 31,633 seconds. With this success Sylke Otto is the only woman in the World Cup with 34 victories.
Second place went to World Champion Silke Kraushaar (1:31,836) followed by Ashley Hayden (1:31,878) from U.S.A. It was the best result ever for Ashley Hayden.
In the overall standings Barbara Niedernhuber is still in the lead with 636 points followed by Kraushaar (626).
