The quotes
Tatjana Huefner (GER / 2010 Olympic champion, 2007 and 2008 World champion)
“I’m not happy today with either of my runs. I’ve made too many mistakes. At one moment in the first run my sled even stood at an angle. It’s my ambition that’s driving me on. The race next week in Park City will be quite interesting – I’ve been there just once and this is why I have to start from scratch.”
Anke Wischnewski (GER / World Championship silver medallist; 2010 Olympic fifth-placed)
“I still make too many small mistakes. And the start could be better as well. However, I’m happy that I’ve made second place.
Erin Hamlin (USA / 2009 World champion)
“I’m really happy. It’s my goal to have constant runs and to make it onto the podium as often as possible.”
