The Quotes
Tatjana Huefner (GER / 2010 Olympic champion, 2007 and 2008 World champion)
“That’s a boost for my self-confidence for the weeks ahead. Well, I can match Natalie’s good performance at the start. I’ve noticed the enthusiasm and excitement of the crowds at the track but I’ve still been able to fully concentrate on my two runs.”
Natalie Geisenberger (2010 Olympic bronze medallist, 2008 European champion)
“I’m pleased with my second place today. But of course not with the gap to Tatjana. I’ve even blundered in the first run, a mistake that could have ended in an accident.”
Anke Wischnewski (GER / 2007 World silver medallist)
“I’ve still enough room to improve at the start. Additionally, I’ve made a mistake in the second run in curve 13.”
