Quotes

Tatjana Hüfner (Olympic-third and world champion 2007)
“I am overwhelmed. I miss the words now. I did not count with that. I did not see the mistake of Silke. The track speaker called my attention to this."

Anke Wischnewski (world championship third 2005 and second 2007)
“I was third 2005 and now second. For sure I will try to catch the title in Oberhof 2008. But this will be very hard, particularly because Silke will drive her last race there.”

Silke Kraushaar-Pielach (Olympic champion 1998 and world champion 2004)
“I wanted to make the first paddle-beat very strong. I am very disappointed. The highlight of the season is the world championship, there must not happen such a mistake. In the training I made the same mistake and then I thought, this will not happen again in the race.”
