Quotes: Tatjana Hüfner (GER, Olympic bronze medallist 2008, World Champion 2007 and 2008, Silver medal at European Championships 2004 and 2006, rank two in Overall World Cup 2006/07) „At my first race in Sigulda I didn’t come to term with the track, but I expected it to be better this year. Also the training week here was good for me. I am very satisfied.” Silke Kraushaar-Pielach (GER, Olympic Champion 1998, World Champion 2004, European Champion 1998, 2004 and 2006, five times winner of Overall World Cup): „These were my worst runs in the whole week. Good, that it was enough for rank two. The gusts of wind were a problem, one hit me fully at my run.“ Maija Tiruma (seventh rank at European Championships 2008, nineth rank at World Cups in Winterberg and Igls): “My first run was good, but in the second I had some mistakes. I am very happy about the podium, maybe at the last World Cup even more is possible.”
