In the line-up with Julian von Schleinitz, Lisa Liebert and Daniel Rothamel/Chris Romeiß the quartet in a total time of two minutes 21,542 seconds banned the US-team with Robert Huerbin, Emely Sweeney and Jakob Hyrns/Andrew Sherk (two minutes 22,947 seconds) to rank two. The team from Russia (Georgy Talypov, Ksenia Tsyplakova und Alexandr Denisjev/Vladislav Antonov, two minutes 23,963 seconds) finished third.
