Team Germany does it again

Königssee (RWH)  Team Germany has done it again: at the 46th International Luge Federation (FIL) World Championships, the German quartet won the title for the sixth time in succession and thus remains unbeaten in the team relay.

The German line-up was the same relay team that won Olympic gold at Sochi 2014: Natalie Geisenberger, Felix Loch and Tobias Wendl–Tobias Arlt, all of whom also won gold in their individual disciplines at the 2016 World Championships. The Latvian team of Eliza Cauce, Inars Kivlenieks and Andris Sics–Juris Sics came second, and bronze went to last year’s bronze medallists Team Canada, comprising Alex Gough, Mitchel Malyk and Tristan Walker–Justin Snith.
