Athletes for Ukraine

Three-time Olympic Champion Felix Loch delivered a very moving performance. He won the "Award" for his sympathetic performance at the Winter Games in Beijing and used the stage of the award ceremony for a fiery appeal against war. Loch and wrestler Frank Stäbler, who received the award for his energy performance at the Summer Games in Tokyo , both donated their prize money of 3000 Euros each to the "Athletes for Ukraine" association.

Together with many athletes worldwide, Felix Loch supports people from Ukraine. He himself got into a minibus with relief supplies and drove with a group of helpers to the border between Poland and Ukraine. "We brought 47 people to Germany - mothers and children. I will never forget that for the rest of my life. We must raise our voices against this war. It is unbelievable and unbearable what is happening there”.
