Team Germany is looking for flag bearers for the Olympics: Natalie Geisenberger and Tobias Wendl are up for election / Fans and athletes vote

Who will lead Team Germany into the stadium at the opening ceremony on 4. February 2022at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing? Three female and three male athletes are up for election - Olympic champions Natalie Geisenberger and Tobias Wendl are among the nominees.

Just like at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) is also letting sports fans vote on the flag bearers for the Beijing Olympics. One thing is already certain: there will be two flag bearers for Team Germany, one female and one male athlete.

Speed skater Claudia Pechstein: five-time Olympic champion, eighth Olympic participation
Luge athlete Natalie Geisenberger: four-time Olympic champion, fourth Olympic participation
Snowboarder Ramona Hofmeister: bronze medal in Pyeongchang 2018
