Talented lugers from Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic competed in thrilling races on wheels. With ideal weather and excellent organization, young and top athletes from three nations showcased their impressive skills. Organized by RC Ilmenau e.V. in cooperation with the Thuringian Sledding and Bobsleigh Association (TSBV), the competition is considered an important part of the international summer luge scene. It was once again a complete success this year.

After successfully rescheduling the event to May last year, RC Ilmenau opted for an early race weekend again in 2025. This was in response to many athletes' desire for more flexibility in their preparations.
