Park City (pps) Three different nations claimed the victories at the Nations Cup in Park City / Utah. Winners of the qualifying races for the Viessmann Luge World Cup this weekend at the Utah Olympic Park were Canada’s Kimberly McRae, Russia’s Stepan Federov and Daniel Rothamel-Toni Foertsch from Germany.

Kimberly McRae defeated Elizia Tiruma (Latvia) and Emily Sweeney to second and third place, respectively. Emily Sweeney was an additional starter of the U.S. luge team. This is why she is not eligible to compete in the women’s singles race.

In the men’s singles Fedorov claimed the victory ahead of Taylor Morris and Aidan Kelly, both of the U.S.A. In doubles event Latvia’s Oskars Gudramovics-Peters Kalnins earned a second place finish ahead of Russia's Ivan Nevmerzhitskiy-Vladimir Prokhorov on third place.
