Seoul (RWH) The PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games (POCOG) and the Korea Luge Federation (KLF) hosted the National Technical Officials (NTO) training in Seoul. With 37 participants, Bjørn Dyrdahl (NOR), who worked at the Olympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi/Russia as a Technical Delegate for the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Luge, transferred theoretical knowledge in Luge and discussed many issues regarding operating Olympic Games and the Pre-events. This was now published by POCOG in Seoul.

POCOG and KLF will host the NTO programme every year in order to be well-prepared for Luge competition in PyeongChang 2018. The possible candidates for key officials in PyeongChang 2018 will also be sent to the 2014/15 season FIL World Championship in Sigulda /Latvia to give them more opportunities to experience and build up the practical knowledge in Luge and also to give opportunities to obtain the FIL international judge license.
