Tucker West and Emily Sweeney win at the Norton USA Luge Start Championship

Lake Placid (FIL) Two-time Olympian Tucker West won his ninth Norton USA Start Championship. 

With this victory, the three-time World Cup winner moved to within one victory of team record holder Ashley (Hayden) Walden, who won ten straight championships.

Pyeongchang Olympian Emily Sweeney won the women's title while the team of Zack DiGregorio and Sean Hollander took the doubles title.

The competition was held on the refrigerated start ramps at USA Luge in Lake Placid. The facility opened 18 months ago after extensive renovations and an extension of the icy ramps.
