Almost 2.8 million viewers watched the decision in the men’s singles on Sunday, when Rus-sian Albert Demchenko won the race from Germany’s Georg Hackl thus assuring his first ever overall victory by his fourth win this season. This means a market-share of 18.4 per-cent.

The women’s and doubles’ events on Saturday also achieved good TV ratings. 1.78 million watched Italy’s Christian Oberstolz and Patrick Gruber’s win (market-share 13.3%). German Sylke Otto’s record (34 th World Cup victory) was followed by 1.69 million (10.2%).
