Winterberg (pps) Two victories for Germany and one for Russia: This is the result of the Nation’s Cup, the qualifier for die Viessmann Luge World Cup this weekend at Winterberg, Germany. The winners are Carina Schwab and Ralf Palik from Germany and Russia’s Vladislav Yuzhakov/Vladimir Makhnutin. Schwab and Palik are additional Starter and not allowed to compete in the Viessmann World Cup.

Carina Schwab delegated her team-mate Corinna Martini and Canada’s Arianne Jones to second and third place. Ralf Palik was followed by Thor Haug Norbech from Norway and Russia’s Aleksandr Peretjagin. In doubles competition Tristan Walker/Justin Snith from Canada picked up second place followed by Lukas Broz/Antonin Broz from Czech Republic.
