Lake Placid (USLA) USA Luge president, Dwight Bell, was recently named to the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Evaluation Commission for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. The commission’s purpose is to review the candidates to host the XXII Olympic Winter Games. The candidates include Sochi, Russia; Salzburg, Austria; and PyeongChang, Korea. The host city will be named in July 2007.
