Innsbruck-Igls (pps) Germany’s Olympic Champions Patric Leitner/Alexander Resch captured at Innsbruck-Igls their 34th success in Viessmann Luge World Cup. In the first run the three-time World Champions improved the brand new track record of their team-mates Tobias Wendl/Tobias Arlt (39.303 seconds) up to 39,278 and won in total time of one minute 18.631 seconds. So far Leitner/Resch kept unbeaten in Viessmann Luge World Cup in the Olympic season.
Second place went to André Florschütz/Torsten Wustlich followed by Austria’s Andres Linger/Wolfgang Linger, the Olympic Champions from 2006 Torino.
Mathew Mortensen/Preston Griffal finished on 8th place, 0.517 seconds back. Mike Moffat/Chris Moffat came in on 11th Place, 0,871 seconds back.
