Königssee (pps) Olympic Champion Sylke Otto (GER) has won the Overall World Cup in Luge for the fourth time. The World Champion celebrated her fourth overall title after 1995, 2000 and 2003. At the final of the Viessmann Luge World Cup at Königssee Sylke Otto won her fifth race of the season and the overall standing with a total of 755 points.
She won the last race in a total time of one minute 36,014 seconds followed by her team-mates Silke Kraushaar (1:36,079), Barbara Niedernhuber 81:36,579) and Tatjana Hüfner (1:36,756).
In the Overall Standings Otto is in front with 755 points followed by Silke Kraushaar (667), Barbara Niedernhuber (490) and Austria`s Sonja Manzenreiter (436), who finished fifth at Königssee (1:37,153). Best US-Girl was Courtney Zablocki (1:37,558) on tenth place.

But i`m satisfied with the second place.“ Barbara Niedernhuber (GER) Olympic Silver Medalist 1998 and 2002: „We have not found the turbo yet. The diffrence to the top is even to big.Starting and driving is oaky.”
