Seventh consecutive Success at Königssee for Leitner/Resch

Königssee (pps) On their home track Patric Leitner/Alexander Resch are still the dominators in double’s race. At the Viessmann Luge World Cup at Königssee the Olympic Champions 2002 and four time World Champions celebrated their seventh consecutive success since 2001 and their 32nd overall. Leitner/Resch won in a total time of one minute 34,616 seconds.

Second place went to their team-mates Tobias Wendl/Tobias Arlt (0,070 seconds back), who have been in the lead after the first run. On third place finished Austria’s Olympic Champions Andreas Linger/Wolfgang Linger (0,166 seconds back).
The lead in the overall World cup took Italy’s European Champions Christian Oberstolz/Patrick Gruber on fourth place (0,201 back) with 260 points.
