Königssee (pps) Germany`s Olympic Champion Patric Leitner/Alexander Resch have won for the third time after 1999/2000 and 2001/2002 the Overall World Cup. On their hometrack at Königssee the World Champions of 1999 and 2000 celebrated their second victory of the season.
Leitner/Resch won in a total time of one minute 35,510 seconds followed by their teammates Andre Florschütz/Torsten Wustlich (1:35,829) and USA`s Mark Grimmette/Brian Martin (1.35,940).
Leitner/ Resch won the Overall World Cup with a total of 628 points followed by Florschütz/Wustlich (599) and Italy`s Christian Oberstolz/Patrick Gruber (550). Grimmette/Martin finished on 10th place with 254 points.
