Quotes:
Sylke Otto (Olympic Champion and World Champion 2000, 2001 and 2002):
“This victory was very important with regard to the Overall World Cup. It was a funny day. We took several attempts to start the race, but it was impossible with the wind. Waiting for the late start finally paid off.”
Barbara Niedernhuber (Olympic Silver Medalist):
„During the first run, which was cancelled later, I ruined my suite. Then we almost had to wait the whole day and finally I finished second even with my ruined suite. Not bad.“
Veronika Halder (Austria):
„Third place is great. But it was a funny race. I really had to pull myself togteher.”
