Quotes: Andre Florschütz (World Champions 2001) „After the crash in lake Placid we have only a small chance to win the overall title. So we look from race to race. Our goals are the Worlds at Park City. Normally we like gliding tracks like Calgary or Igls more, but in this season we improved a lot on difficult tracks like Sigulda or Oberhof.” Christian Baude „We got the chance here in Oberhof and we took the chance here in Oberhof. The other three doubles from our country are so strong, so we will get no more races in this season. Before the second run I was not very nervous.” Markus Schiegl (World Champion 1996 and 1997) „This was a really good start in the new year. We made a mistake in the second run, therefore we missed the second place."
