Winterberg (pps) Germany’s Natalie Geisenberger won the sixth race to Viessmann Luge World Cup and celebrated her second victory of the season.
At the bobtrack in Winterberg (Germany) the European Champion of 2008 in one minute 53,179 seconds banned her teammate and two times World Champion Tatjana Hüfner (0,010 seconds back) tightly to rank two. World Champion Erin Hamlin from USA with rank three (0,150 seconds back) celebrated her second podium position in the Olympic Season.
Best athlete from the Canadian team was Alex Gough, the fourth of world Championships 2009.
In the overall ranking of Viessmann luge World Cup Tatjana Hüfner defends her lead with now 570 points followed by Natalie Geisenberger (540) and Anke Wischnewski (GER, 385), Erin Hamlin is on rank four (335).
