Innsbruck-Igls. (pps) Sylke Otto from Germany celebrated her fifth season’s victory in the Viessmann Luge Worldcup at the Bob- Luge- and Skeletontrack in Innsbruck-Igls.
The Worldcup-Leader banished with the best time in second run and a total time of 1:21,286 minutes her teammate and last year’s winner of the overall Worldcup Silke Kraushaar (1:21,495), who was leading until then, on second rank. Third was Barbara Niedernhuber (1:21,788), also from Germany.

In the overall Worldcup Sylke Otto (585) saved her victory already before the finals in Winterberg. Second in the overall standings is still Silke Kraushaar (470) followed by Barbara Niedernhuber (440).

Best of the US-National Team was Brenna Margol (1:22,584 minutes) on tenth rank, best Canadian athlet Regan Lauscher (1:23,336) on rank 16.
