Winterberg (pps). Gemany´s Olympic Champion Sylke Otto, who was already fixed as winner of the overall Viessmann Worldcup, leads the german luge team at the finals in Winterberg to third total success in this winter. Two weeks before the World Championships in Segulda (Latvia), the World- and European Champion realized her 27th success in Viessmann luge World Cup in 1 minute 30,267 seconds followed by her teammates Barbara Niedernhuber (1:30,301), Anke Wischnewski (1:30,415) and Silke Kraushaar (1:30,480).
The overall World Cup, Sylke Otto finished with 685 points, followed by Kraushaar (535) and Niedernhuber (525).
Best athlet of the USA luge team was Brenna Margol (1:31,343) on rank twelve. Margol is also best US-Athlet in overall World Cup on rank eight (265).
Best Canadian athlet was Regan Lauscher (1:31,249) on tenth rank in Winterberg and tenth rank (248 points) in the overall World Cup standings.
