Tatjana Huefner opens Olympic Season with her 17th Success

Calgary (pps) Defending Champion in Viessmann Luge World Cup Tatjana Huefner from Germany opened the Olympic season with her 17th success. The two-time World Champion won the season’s opener in Viessmann World Cup at Calgary. In one minute 33.691 seconds the bronze Medalist of the 2006 Winter Games at Torino 2006 was followed by three teammates. Second place went to Natalie Geisenberger (0.167 seconds back), Anke Wischnewski (0.333 seconds back) and Corinna Martini (0.802 seconds back).br>
Nina Reithmayer (+0.835) from Austria captured 5th place followed by Canada‘s Alex Gough (+0.838) and World Champion Erin Hamlin (+1.025) from U.S.A. br>
