Harmonious Meeting of the FIL Executive Board in Lausanne
Lausanne (pps) In a harmonious atmosphere the Executive Board of the International Luge Federation, FIL, set the course for the upcoming season. Absolute highlight of the two-day long session at the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Lausanne, Switzerland, was the visit of IOC President Jacques Rogge. Kicking off the meeting of the Executive Board, Belgium’s IOC President emphasized the downright good relations between IOC and FIL. He furthermore pointed out the importance of the first “Youth Olympic Games” (YOG) to take place in Innsbruck in 2012.
