Stary Smokovec/Slovakia (pps) Walter Marx, long-time member of the Technical Commission of the International Luge Federation (FIL) celebrated his 65th birthday in Stary Smokovec, Slovakia, on Wednesday, December 12, 2007. The President of the International Luge Federation, Josef Fendt from Berchtesgaden, went to Slovakia together with FIL Vice-President Harald Steyrer and Executive Director Hartmut Kardaetz in order to congratulate him in person. Walter Marx was awarded with the FIL’s ring of honor.
