The two-time Olympic Champion won in Altenberg (GER) his 39th World cup race and now leads with an advantage of 15 points in the overall standings. There are still two races in Sigulda (LAT) on the schedule.
Second place in Altenberg went to David Möller, who collected so far 525 points and is also in the overall standings on second place behind Zöggeler (540). Third place in Altenberg went to Albert Demtschenko from Russia.
