70th FIL Congress 2022 relocated to Austria

Salzburg (FIL) The FIL Presidium decided at short notice to hold the 70th FIL Congress 2022 in Austria, the legal headquarter of the International Luge Federation FIL. The exact date and location will be announced after the Easter holidays.

For administrative and logistical reasons, the Latvian Luge Federation saw itself forced to refrain from hosting the 70th FIL Congress.

The Presidium of the FIL expressly thanks the Latvian luge friends for the very good corporation and the preparatory work done so far for this anniversary congress.
The exact date in calendar week 24/2022 and the congress location in Austria will be announced in consultation with the Austrian Luge Federation (ÖRV) immediately after the Easter holidays. The Presidium thanks the ÖRV for their willingness to host this FIL Congress at short notice.
