Sergey Chudinov head coach at the Russian Luge Federation

Moscow (RWH) Sergey Chudinov has been appointed head coach at the Russian Luge Federation (RLF). Chudinov's appointment was confirmed in a press release in Moscow some days ago.
He will be tasked with leading the Russian luge teams as they continue preparations for the new season. The Russian team enjoyed a successful 2018-2019 campaign as Semen Pavlichenko won the overall men's title of the Viessmann Luge World Cup. Russia also won gold at the 48th FIL World Championships in Winterberg (GER) in the team relay competition.
Sergey Chudinov is not related to the Skeleton coach with the identical name, who was not allowed to take part at the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang (KOR) due to a decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
